June Sketchbook Post
Added 2020-06-01 21:48:31 +0000 UTCNew month, new sketchbook post! Happy Pride Month to us all. Wish it were arriving under better circumstances. Just a heads up that I've made the ~*executive decision*~ to make these sketchbooks a part of my second tier and up - they're going to include a lot of figure drawings with boners in them, and I like the idea of keeping the Sweet Puppy tier as pretty much just a Pokemon fanart tier. Anyway, here's some sketchbook posts!
Still thinking about settings a lot, something I still struggle with drawing. Quarantine is keeping me from going out to find many interesting ones to draw, but I do like the way that sloppy ass first drawing of my parents' basement captures my quarantine mood. That guy in the last drawing is from a Zoom figure drawing session, which I've done a bit of this month:
Figure drawing's been a great way to keep myself centered during this, trying to wrap my head around finding new ways to draw the human form is a good way to keep it from obsessing over whether my friends that are protesting are okay. (This is probably as good a place as any to plug the Brooklyn Bailout Fund if you have even a couple bucks to spare)
I'm still thinking a lot about this fantasy comic about the bean people, too! I figure I'll introduce predators as an impetus for them to build the beginnings of an actual civilization. I feel like these updates might be a nice thing to make a regular feature of these sketchbook posts, keep me slowly working at the story until I'm ready to start taking the project more seriously.
That's all for this month! I will probably make a separate post about this, but I'm going to be preparing to move at the end of June, so I may have to miss a few updates as the month goes on. I hope you all understand if I'm a little slow for a bit!
