READING GROUP ANNOUNCEMENT

If you are on £5/month or above, you will be able to access the reading group. It is in a channel on the Discord (linked above) so join and get familiar with it if you aren't already - it can be a bit of a pain to get to grips with so do some tests!
We are reading The Heretic’s Guide to Global Finance by Brett Scott to begin with. This is an accessible, well written account of finance written following 2008. It has a clear progressive streak but takes the task of learning about what you're criticising seriously - just like we do here! Start by reading the Introduction and Chapter 1: Putting on Financial Goggles.
The first reading club(s) will be on Thursday 19th September. There will be one at 19 September 2024 09:00 UTC+1, and at 18:00 UTC +1. They are then every 2 weeks from then. Depending on numbers, turnout, and feedback, we may expand or change the days and times. Happy reading and I look forward to discussing the book with all of you!
