Added 2024-06-06 08:42:38 +0000 UTCHeya! Thank you for subscribing to my Patreon guys! I've already posted some artworks and BTS images in the tiers, but here is a free post for you guys to get a sense of what you will find in those tiers.
PROCESS:
I'll be sharing my process for every piece I decide to post. How I imagine the scene to look in my mind, how I plan my steps when I draw, and how I finish it. For example, this scene is a part of a few pictures of Street Sentry's battle with Venom, and this is him coming in fast towards the viewer, who is meant to be Venom.
Since this is a fight, I try to make the scene look intense. Adding things like motion blur, sparks, and dust particles floating around can really make a battle look intense and serious, especially in this case where there is destruction present. I also have to give Spider-man here a more dynamic pose because he is meant to be moving fast with the intention of striking, and to add to that dynamism, I played with the proportions of his body. I made his hand gesture up front much larger than the rest of his body to give it the illusion of speed and it appearing much much closer to the viewer. Lastly, I gave our hero some battle damage to emphasize how dire the situation is.
I will also be breaking down how I start the drawing to its end. From lineart, to flats, to background design, and lastly final effects.
