So... I started this post at the beginning of March. Like March 2nd. My alt text and captions were kinda hilarious. That's all gone now. I'm not gonna try to replicate it. Let's just take a moment to morn that potential bit of hilarity. . . . . . . ☺️
One more because this has happened more than once and it really hurts my feelings . . . . .
. . . . . . .. . . . .. . .
.. .
Ok. So --
I did some orts right after I moved. Needed to vent a bit. I'm gonna talk about them here since -- I don't talk about my art much! HOWEVER. I realized if I did them all at once this post would be far too long. SO. I'm gonna do em in twos maybe? Yea. Twos... Pairs.
Ok let's go!
The bright (and sideways) piece we're starting with was started back in 2014/15 when I got my first air brush machine. I got it to do body painting for my Senior Thesis but I needed to practice handling (and make sure I didn't just waste my money). So I painted a bit on some canvases with florescent colors I likely wouldn't be using on skin. This one is neon orange. 🧡 I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. Maybe a rose? Anyway, last week I decided that it look kinda like a dragon eye so I made it into one. Using the red acrylic paint pen, I outlined the features. I was told it looks like Dragon from Shrek and I definitely have to agree. I dunno what I'm gonna call it yet. Maybe "Her." or "Glow" or ....Yea idk
Second is a painting I'd started recording the process of for my YouTube channel about a year ago, if not longer... It's for a friend of mine who makes and sends me pottery and other fun posters and cute things that make me cry in a good way 😂 The canvas initially said "peace" but I changed it to "praise" because it works better in this context. (smol giggle)
My friend has a light watercolor type of vibe so that's why the background is like cotton candy pastel clouds. And I put a partial sun on the P because she's a sun. And it's related to her logo. I hope to finish it soon....
Aight this post is kinda long now. So I'll talk about two more of em next week 💛
Thank you for your interest in my work.
