This go round we had CC + The Adelitas led by drummer/composer/educator Dr. Colleen Clark, featuring vocalist Andrea Chavarro, trumpeter Rachel Therrien, clarinetist Virginia MacDonald, pianist Arcoiris Sandoval, and bassist Mimi Jones. I highly recommend checking them all out.
and while you're at it - pls pls listen to this beautiful cover of Black Hole Sun by Ona K. i got to meet her last night too. she's mad cool. and her new album dropped at midnight. so that's really fun too!
