Last month, my Fraunt Reese visited for work and we went to the Center for Puppetry Arts. It was sooooo cool. Here are just a few photos.

There were puppets from all over the world and different time periods. There were videos and interactive components. For example, the shadow puppets above could be controlled with the black & white knobs. There were also various marionettes and stick/wire puppets.

I loved that there were activities for the kids too. Like they had a scavenger hunt pamphlet -- that i didn't see until after we'd finished -- and a magnetic board to build faces. They also had a television set room near the Sesame Street room.

I think I liked the Jim Henson room most. His work is so detailed. That passion made me cry a lil. I love it. I'd definitely go back with others. In fact, I kinda want to ask a few friends if they'd be down to go soon. Might bring my siblings. Who knows! I'm all about mixing fun and education though lol Makes being outside/around others more worth it.

I'd like to have more adventures to post here. Luckily, I've had enough excitement so far this month to share lol
