Necessary, but not sufficient. What people that say that are meaning to say is that it could be worse, because it is better then everything being the same and him also not paying child support. That is also the fall back point of the manosphere that providing financially for the family is already putting them at a better outcome then what many men provide. The flaw in that reasoning they don't talk about is that if you are talking about men trying to be the best at everything they should try to be the best father they can as well not the minimum required.

Even outside of this weird online manosphere space, I sometimes hear women in my family make excuses that so-and-so is a good father just because they always paid their child support. Being a good parent is more than just a paycheck.

Because what it sounds like is he’s essentially creating a financial institution of self where he pays handouts to all these single family households he’s now created. And he seems to have an issue with single families and child support/ alimony payments even though that’s all he’s been able to communicate that he will provide to his children. All he can give then is money and ✨the truth✨ like the government?
