Both mods needed updates after game patch 1.116.202. But there are also some added features in Basemental Drugs.

Small Business Dispensaries

You can now apply for a dispensary license when running a small business.

It will work more or less like a retail shop, the main difference is that you need to use one of the retail stands to sell your items, and you need to repurchase whatever you sell once it is sold out, instead of having a restock option as you would in a regular retail store.

Randomize Drug Autonomy

You can now randomize drug autonomy for all Sims through the Settings.

This will take a random amount from all the eligible Sims in your world and make them users of all the various drugs you can assign autonomy for.

Peyote Fixes

There are some minor changes to Peyote that should've been implemented a while back. Namely read and write trip reports and the ability to sell dried crowns.

To sell dry peyote crowns you need to be at least level 7 in Cannabis Dealing.

Trial and Prison

There are several improvements to trials and prison in this version. First of all I added a fail-safe in case for some reason your Sim missed their trial. You can now shift+click the Sim > Drugs > Go to Trial.

I also added some social interactions between friends and family towards Sims who are awaiting trial.

Last but not least, Sims can now call incarcerated household members. This will get rid of their sad buff for a few hours.

Now I got this locked down the next item on the to-do list is conjugal visits.

Venue List

To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*

• Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.

• Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.

• Choose which Optional Packages you want included.

• Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.

Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.

• Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.

• Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.

• Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.

• Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.

• Delete your localthumbcache.package
