Gambling Legalization

This feature is only for people with the Basemental Gambling mod installed. It makes gambling illegal across all regions of the game. To legalize gambling in a region click on any Sim > Drugs > Settings > Legalize Gambling. From there you select which region you would like to have gambling be a legal activity.

For now keeping gambling criminalized doesn't do much other than make the gambling items for the Casino Venue not work properly. You can't play any games on the tables, convert chips or hire dealers. This is really just the next step in a grander scheme of things in what's to come in the next iteration of Basemental Gangs.

AA Sponsee's

I know this has been bugging some of you, so I threw in a toggle for it. You can now finally mute those sponsee calls through your Sims phone.

If your Sim is in AA and has a sponsee, click on your Sims phone > Drugs > Mute Sponsee Calls.

Sponsees will now stop calling until you unmute it. To unmute you just do the same thing as you did when you muted it, but it will read Unmute Sponsee Calls instead.

Bug Fixes and What's to Come

The rest of this version is mostly bug fixes and it is all outlined in the changelog. I am already knee deep in the next iteration of Basemental Gangs, and I hope I will be able to get it out by the end of December, but no promises here. December is a hectic month for everyone with holidays, family time and all that jazz, but I'll be giving it my best attempt to deliver it as quickly as possible for what it's worth.

Venue List

To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
• Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.

Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
• Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
• Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package
