The January poll is now ended, and "Features centered around teens and parents" got 56% of the votes.  Thanks to all of you that joined in on voting, I'll get to working on that as soon as this weekend is over. But first and foremost; Here's a new release for you with a bunch of fixes and some other neat improvements!

Animations

Sitting Animations
Usually I don't tend to elaborate on bug fixes in this section of the Patreon posts, but this calls for some additional highlighting. Ever since the sitting while smoking animations were introduced there has been an issue with some chairs, like the barstools. Previously they would glitch into the chair.

I am happy to bring the news that all chairs are now fully compatible with the smoking animations. This applies to both tobacco and cannabis smoking, and includes bongs, vaporizers, blunts and joints.

The animations were originally made with couches or chairs in mind, so there might still be some clipping with the upper part of the body at times when the Sim leans forward towards a surface like a bar for instance. But compared to the former version of the animations, this should be negligible.

Scenarios

Last version I added a couple of scenarios. I did the same thing for this release, and I will try adding a couple new ones for some releases going forward. The two I added last time has now been taken out and the two new ones are in.

The idea is to keep no more than two scenarios in per release. Once I have created enough of them I will bring them in rotationally. This brings the added challenge of completing them in time before the next version of the mod is released.

Drug Dealing

Selling drugs has gotten a bit of an overhaul this version. The biggest change to dealing is that the fluctuating Changing World prices are also reflected in drug sales. What this means is that if you sell drugs in an expensive region, you will get more cash than when selling in a region with cheap or normal prices.

If you are selling in an expensive or cheap region, the menu will let you know as shown in the image above. Your dealing skill level will always factor into the equation, meaning a higher skill level will always net you more profit per sale. 

Discuss Drug Market
This feature has also gotten a bit of an overhaul. First of all you can now ask your clubber friends as well as your NPC dealer about the Drug Market to get updated on cheap or expensive regions.

The other game changer is that you don't get a random answer for a region, drug and price, but you can rather specify which drug you want to know more about.

This will make buying and selling drugs way more interesting as it will guide you towards buying in cheap regions and selling where it is expensive.

This social interaction comes with a cooldown of a few hours, however, so choose wisely which drug you need to get updated on.

To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
• Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
