Changing World

The prices for drugs bought by the NPC dealers have been changed around on a regional basis, and there is new batches of molly out on the streets.

For those of you that are new to the mod, new batches of MDMA basically means that the quality of the drugs get changed around for each new Patreon version. As an example, if in last weeks version you found that the Pink Rolex were really strong and the Green Chanel's contained mostly speed, now that may be flipped around. Use the stay-safe test kit to test the pills contents or have your Sim guinea pig it.


Journey to Batuu

I have been getting some feedback from people that haven't seemed to read the changelog for the last version and thought that BMD conflicts with Journey to Batuu. Therefore I added in some extra text to the Batuu vacation world to avoid any remaining confusion.

Eco Lifestyle

This should be a welcoming change to everyone that uses the Eco Lifestyle part of the Settings. Now you are able to set the various footprints through a more intricate menu in the Settings.

Simply click on Drugs > Settings > Eco Footprint > All Districts

Now you will get a list of all the various regions, click on a region to get a list of all the districts in that region. You will also see what the current footprints of said district is set to. Alter the footprint directly from here, regardless of your Sim being in the region or not.

Last but not least I fixed a couple of base game bugs related to Eco Footprints. 

The first one being the LE you would get if you travelled from a lot with max green footprint to a lot that is neutral or industrial. That should now be a thing of the past.

Second bug fixed is something that has been happening for some, but not everyone. In some saves the sunrays and auroras have been stacking on top of each other on certain lots making it impossible to see anything if you zoom out.

Drug Dealing

This has been quite the undertaking, but it has turned out great I think.

I created new sales pickers when selling drugs. The tuning of the game wasn't all the way set up in a way to easily implement reverse purchase pickers so it involved a whole lot of stuff on my end, both with scripts and tuning, but the end product is pretty great and makes the selling a whole lot more intuitive and easy to use I think.

Example

Lets use weed selling as an example. Previously if you were selling weed you would have 1 interaction for each strain, and well.. even more on a high level as you could sell 2 bags instead of 1 for each strain as well. 

Now you only have this one:

First of all, this interaction goes through a script that checks up on your target's household funds to see if they can afford it.* Then it checks which drug you are selling, if the amount corresponding to their household funds is lower than the average value per sale of the drug in question you will get a notification that the target can't afford it right now. If you try again in half a day or so they might be able to afford it however.

If they can afford it, you will get a picker showing you the relevant items in your Sims inventory, still using Cannabis as an example. And with a maxed out dealing skill, you will be able to sell 4 different bags at the same time.

Once the deal is successful, the script will add up the total value of all the items catalogue values, and multiply it with an amount dictated by your current Dealing Skill level. Last but not least, the items sold will be transferred from your Sims inventory to the targets inventory.

I also need to mention that the selling of Cocaine Bricks and Amphetamine Packages to high level clients or celebrities is also now done through the single "Sell Cocaine" or "Sell Amphetamine" interaction.

* If the target is a Sim in a non-played household they will always have a default amount of 20.000 Simoleons - to circumvent this the script checks whether or not the Sim has been played before, and if they haven't they give them a random amount to check for between 0 and 10.000.
If the target is a high level client however it will give them a static amount of 60.000 Simoleons to check for .

Dealing Skill Levels

The dealing skill level rewards have also been slightly overhauled to fit with the new system. This is the new and updated rewards. (Note that these changes are in addition to the level rewards that were currently implemented.)

Cocaine Dealing
Level 4: sell 2 ziplock bags at once (one of each quality)

Amphetamine Dealing
Level 4: sell 2 ziplock bags at once (one of each quality)

Pills Dealing
Level 1-3: sell 3 items at a time
Level 4-6: sell 4 items at a time, including small ziplock bags, mdma pill glass, xanax and adderall
Level 7-10: sell 4 items at a time, including large ziplock bags

Cannabis Dealing
Level 1-3: sell 1 bag at a time
Level 4-6: sell 2 bags at a time (all strains included)
Level 7-10: sell 4 bags at a time, including LSD and shrooms. Time restriction on selling to customers removed.

Im having a problem, i cant get any clients, i got a drug dealer not in my household, inquired about selling weed but when i try to get a client, the weed buttons dont show up

You have more tHAN 1 SIM in your household or added new one? i have that issue when i added one simt ot my household, just select other sim to make sell and you get the money
