Basemental Drugs 6.12.148
Added 2020-08-14 00:02:05 +0000 UTCI am working on a larger implementation of a new drug right now that requires objects, some new custom animations and a whole lot of stuff, but I took a couple days off from that to sort out a smaller update that provides you with some fixes as well as some new features.
HOTFIX 14 Aug 2020:
If you downloaded 6.12.147 yesterday, please update to 6.12.148 to correct a LastException occurring if Basemental Gangs is not installed.

Changing World
Most of you know the drill here. The prices for drugs bought by the NPC dealers have been changed around on a regional basis, and the quality of molly as well.
Stay-Safe Test Kit
Buy the Stay-Safe Test Kit from the convenience store on your computer, or through the Travel option on your Sims phone.
The new 3D model is created by luumia.
Make sure your Sim has pills in their inventory, click on the test kit and select "Test Pill". This will give you a picker box looking like this.
Select the pill you want to test, and you'll get the test result directly.
The test kit contains 5 tests and costs 150 Simoleons. Make sure your Sims stay safe out there and head over to your nearest Convenience Store right now!
Travel-Purchasing
It can be slightly annoying to order your items from the computer and wait for a day or two for it to arrive.
Now you can have your Sim travel to the Headshop or Convenience Store directly by accessing their phone, go to the travel menu and select "Headshop" or "Convenience Store".
Your Sim will leave the premises and on their arrival back home you will get the purchase picker pop up for the items they were out buying.
Once you have selected the items they will arrive instantly in your Sims inventory.
Basemental Drugs
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

I find the "Stoner" debuff to be soul-crushingly detrimental and takes any fun out of recreational usage in the game. Manually removing that debuff with MCCC over and over gets really old. Love the mod overall, just wish there was a way to tune that type of stuff for personal play styles.
