Poll: Next Feature

As I am on the fence on which of these two features to work on for the next release, I thought I'd let you guys chime in. First of all, though, let me say that additional suggestions for stuff to work on in the comments section underneath this post will be largely ignored, as the next main added feature will be one of these two options.

What should I work on for the next update?

It's not gone. You assign it through Settings > Assign NPCs

Assign any NPC as a drug dealer, befriend the NPC drug dealer and there will be an option to start selling drugs for them.

Could you help me? how can you sell drugs if you can't assign a drug dealer with the trait since it's gone.

You were never supposed to play as the CAS assigned Drug Dealer, though. It stated so explicitly several places. As you have no means of selling drugs from the dealer when playing as them it literally makes no sense what so ever. To play as a drug dealer you need to acquire a dealing trait from that NPC.

omggg i cant wait for adderall. my sims is studying for exams and i want him to stay up all night studying but hes tired.

It would be cool if the settings allowed you to choose if it was the "female","male" or randomly "both" type of animations that would occur when smoking cigarettes - regardless of the sex you are playing. A girl with a more masculine way to smoke, and a guy with a more feminine way… It would add more variety to a smoking sim :)

Oh! If we're looking to add realism to the experience, I love this. They have to go to the doctor once a season for a new prescription (since that's what those of us with ADHD have to do) and there's a small chance that they get a new doctor who doesn't want to prescribe or that the pharmacy is out. Then they go through withdrawl and experience anxiety until they can go back the next day.

mushrooms keep disappearing from Inventory .. Harvest they are there I share to one sim any sim and then they are all gone... any idea ?

Oh, another cool thing you could add for tobacco is a pipe.

With the updated versions they will definitely not constantly do molly, though? It used to be like that in the past, but not after the recent changes to the mod. The autonomy has been tuned waaay down for that. They need to be clubbers or party animals for the autonomy to even be considered, and then it's still only on weekends that it will trigger.

I've said it before, but I would really like it if you could find some way to filter which locations people will autonomously do drugs in and which ones they don't. Something like the the autonomy signs in WickedWhims. That way I could have my Sims do MDMA and coke in a nightclub but not in, say, a restaurant. It'd also be cool to have settings regulating the frequency of autonomous drug use (outside of addiction, of course). I just don't want my Sims *constantly* doing molly just because they happen to have it.

Hey, just a thought but the addiction level is a little on the high side. Maybe there could be a sliding scale of addiction. Some people just don't get addicted to substances or there are some people that thc just doesn't effect at all. Then you have the extreme, the ones who always need a cig in their hands. Then you have the middle where they get addicted but not to the point of needing a smoke every 2-3 hours. Am I making sense at all?

What if there was a way to call the plug from the phone and a notification pops up to let you go to where they are? and what if there is a way to spawn a plug NPC (optionally) at the beginning of each save?

All comments get noticed :) Well at least 99% of them. I'm not sure that is the best way to go about that as it sounds a bit unrealistic, but let me think about a variant of that which makes more sense

This comment probably won't get noticed but it would be really cool to have a 'Find Plug' feature for the phones to randomly spawn in a drug dealer npc.

I agree that it would be cool to have an ADHD trait alongside it to show Adderall's positive effects on those with the condition; it's really helped my sister with ADHD throughout her life. Would be interesting if they could be prescribed it, then possibly have a risk of it being stolen (sadly) if left out and not in their inventory (especially in uni)... If a sim is addicted to amphetamine, will Adderall remove their associated negative buffs should they use it?

It's a drug used for ADHD. It's effects are similar to meth.

It's not. It's a matter of percentage chances. You are however not as likely to get addicted to it if you just do a bunch of lines in a row, then you'll rather increase the likeilyhood of an OD. If you do it over a prolonged time period on the other hand, you should increase your risk of getting addicted

The gangs feature is super well done but just like content like the strangerville mystery it's something I do once and probably will never will again. I always like the small features like adding Adderall because it's something I will use across more sims overall.

I would rather see more added to gangs though but I can wait since most folks seem to want Adderall more.

Adderall is cool and if it could work in conjunction with an AdHd trait and help those who have it that would be cool. As someone with ADHD I think it would be nice for folks to see the positive effects Adderall can have for the people who need it and the relief they get when they have it compared to the sometimes intense effects it has on folks who don’t need it taking it.

Gangs is lacking right now. It needs more features. I love it but it gets old quick. We've got plenty of drugs right now. Though I do admit uni + adderall makes some sense.

kind of an extreme reaction, and, doesn't make a lot of sense either. luck to you though.

University can provide a perfect backdrop to the budding gang environment. Gangs could be included in one or two degrees, maybe a trait could be added in CAS. Low level scum kind a gang or a Powerful gang like the ones we already have. Win or loose in the gang world. Something like that. But seeming everyone one else, is more interested in one pill, then long term game play.

Sorry to be a bummer here but as someone with ADHD and who has difficulty finding the drugs I need from time to time due to the stigma around them, can we please at least work through more illegal substances before we start going to ones that people actually get regular prescriptions for due to actual problems? I'm sure you'll be fine without my $5 a month but I think it's fair to respectfully inform you that if Adderall is added I can't continue to support this project.

I love the idea of Adderall if you can work it into the university setup. Like maybe have the option to give your sim a long-lasting strong focused moodlet so that your sim can study for like 8 hours.

I like the idea of more pills. Would it be possible for the adderall to interact with alcohol, possibly increasing the chances of a fatal overdose?

adderall!! it would be cool to have it so it works as it should on some sims as well (aka it just helps them focus like it does for someone with adhd) as opposed to getting them high. like, a 60-40% chance of it either getting u high or just focusing u lmfao

Amphetamine gives occasional additional focused buffs when on it. The hunger and sleep stuff is also something that comes with the amphetamine buffs and will obviously also be included with Adderall :)

Adderall should give a temporary focus buff, of course. I was a little bummed at first when I found out that the existing amphetamine drug didn't do this and gave an energized buff instead. It would also be neat if the Adderall would temporarily slow down sleep and hunger decay for the duration of its effect, but only to have both hunger and sleep rapidly come crashing down during the comedown of the drug, of course.

LSD could be added and depending on the trip some npcs could show up like the Flower Bunny or something lmao. But concerning this poll Adderall could be a nice add on for the college kids
