There's been some crucial bug fixes to address after Discover University, and I know a bunch of you have been waiting for beer pong, and beer kegs. But, the good news is that this update should have you covered with all of that stuff. An extra big shout out to TURBODRIVER and Nisa K for an immense bunch of help with figuring out some scripty stuff for this release.
Beer Pong and Kegs
- Optional Real Drink Names package update

- Changed a metric shit-ton of string table entries
- Enabled Sims to get drunk from beer pong
- Keg stands gets you quite insta-drunk

Beer Pong
Just play as you would juice pong, and your Sims should feel the effects. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a way to remove the purple splash that comes from the yellow tinted beer when the ball hits the glass, so I hope that's something you can live with. (Believe me, I have tried fixing that).
Beer Kegs
Those juice kegs have been changed to various types of beer kegs, namely Blond Ale, Porter, Pale Ale and Bitter. Other than that it will work like the juice kegs. Some of you might have noticed that the cups from the juice kegs did that already, but the keg stand did not. Well, now it does. And it gets you way drunker than just sipping on a cup. So, there's that.
Optional Packages
The name changes for beer pong and beer kegs are all included in the updated "Real Drink Names (Optional).package" - So, if you'd rather have the juice names, skip installing that package.
I have also included a new optional package, named "Remove Keg Buffs (Optional).package" - What this does is hide all the buffs you get from drinking the juice from the kegs. It gives you the same effects as you would with the actual buffs, but you get a slightly less cluttered buff screen. Other than that they work hidden in the background.
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Do the exact same thing with the Basemental Gangs files.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

My sim can not sell weed after I get the option to seal the deal I never get the option to sell, I have weed in my inventory. Wondering if anyone knows how I can fix this?

2019-11-27 20:08:08 +0000 UTCId like to see different levels of addiction. For example a chronic alcoholic, or someone on a few xanax bars a day can literally die from withdrawal. On the other hand, someone who drank daily for say a few weeks would only have minor withdrawal and feel crappy, or someone who took .25mg of xanax a day for a few months probably wont have seizures. (ofc, this applies to more than just these two drugs. Like a heroin addict having WDs in a bathtub vs someone who took vicodin 5s a few months). Obviously this would vary in actual time for the sims, maybe the severity of addiction could changed based on the number of seasons your sim has been addicted or something. Just an idea :P
