Added 2019-07-31 23:18:27 +0000 UTCSorry for the lack of updates recently. Basemental has been on Paternity leave for the entire month of July (it ends the 6th of August). However, he has been working every Friday, and has been focused on working on the tobacco part of Basemental Drugs. I cannot give you a proper ETA on that, but it should be more or less right around the corner. In the meantime, enjoy this minor Basemental Gangs update.

How it works
Disband Gang
Before you disband a gang, make sure that you first sell your gang headquarter. Well, first of all you should probably make sure you withdraw any cash you are currently laundering from there, then you sell the headquarter and leave the lot.
To disband a gang, open the cheat console and type in either of these cheats:
- Simkuza - bmg.disband_simkuza
- La Cosa Simstra - bmg.disband_lacosasimstra
- Newcrest Thugs - bmg.disband_newcrestthugs
- Fifteenth Street Gang - bmg.disband_fifteenthstreetgang
This will remove all the traits from the gang members, and gang leader, and it will also remove the gang leaders Leader Skill completely.
Replace Gang Members
One of the most frequent questions popping up on the support channel over at Basemental's Discord Server recently has been "One of my gang members died, how can I replace them".
Well, now you can. Just use the "Replace Gang Member" traits bought from the reward store and the ghost of the gang member should pop up.
Other
Other than that, there are just some minor tweaks and changes. There were some Sims that were listed as potential gang members who shouldn't have been, and are therefore now removed.
Then there is the added log file created in your Basemental Gangs folder when you launch the game. If you have a support question for the support channel of Basemental's Discord Server, please send over said log file.
If there are any errors in any of the script injections in the mod that will also be put in a separate log file in the same folder as mentioned above, and it will come with a notification that the file has been created.
I guess that's it.

Important Information
This mod conflicts with other mods installed that adds custom venues to your game, if you have zerbus Get To School/College mod, LittleMsSams more buyable venues, delete their Venue Lists. (The Venue List in this mod includes their venues as well, so you should be good to go).
This mod does NOT replace Basemental Drugs, but is an addon to Basemental Drugs. Do not delete Basemental Drugs prior to installing this mod.
Installation Instructions
- Requires: The Sims 4, Get to Work and Basemental Drugs
- Download the Basemental Gangs zip file
- Unzip the Basemental Gangs zip file
- Place the unzipped folder directly in your Mods folder
- Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
- Any other issues, get in touch at my Discord Server

2019-08-24 16:09:42 +0000 UTCI'm sorry you feel that way Margot, I have been pretty upfront about this, to be honest, but here we go again. The entire month of July and the first week of August I had a 5 week Paternity leave, leaving me unable to work, and I had to pull a lot of strings to get someone to help me out with some basic patch updates and fixing some mod bugs during this time. After I got back from the Paternity leave I have spent an unseemly amount of time working on adding tobacco to the drugs mod, and that should be ready in a matter of a few days. (There's been a bunch of stuff that was needed to be handled with this, like animations, smoke fx, and other technical doo-dats). That being said, I apologize if you feel like I haven't been more vocal about the whole paternity leave thing, it might have been a case of me assuming that you are all on the Discord server (as you should), and even though it has been written over here as well, in hindsight I should probably have made a separate post letting you know about it. I hope that covers it on the information state of things, and I really take it to heart when you express feelings of being unappreciated, which is certainly not the case. I do love the support of each of every one of you, and apart from that 5 week mandatory Paternity leave, I have in fact more or less worked on my mods every day/night since I started with this, to ensure you get new quality content as well as ensure that the content you already have is as bug free and work as smooth as possible. Turbo suspended payment and at least communicated in a much more professional manner. If i am out of line, please let me know. I don't expect things from people, but in this case I'm supporting someones time off and it doesn't even seem appreciated. Can someone further explain this? I have seen updates for a different mod, not the one I thought and now no updates. Ive never complained before and truly I am looking for information as this is how i am now feeling towards this mod. Please advise.

I am making a rival gang and I wanted it to be on a high level but I dont want to play with that gang, so how do I cheat it up. 2019-08-03 22:06:02 +0000 UTCJust out of curiosity, my sim has the wellness ability teleport. I can use it to get to places that there is literally no pathing to otherwise. It will get you to places that even her mist vampire teleport will not allow her to go because there is no pathing to it. So what i was wondering is if I remove all surface access to her underground lair what would a raid do? Wander around by the mailbox or dump alot of sims underground?
