Patch Day today 18.06.19
Added 2019-06-18 08:04:25 +0000 UTCIn a couple of days we'll have Island Living, Kava Tea parties and women that might be half-bred fishes. But today... today we'll have a patch that will most likely break all the mods, like patches tend to do.
As always I will do my darndest to repair and fix the mods as quickly as Basementally possible, so please be patient and don't ask for ETA's on when it will be up and running again. Rather know that it's being worked on and will be available as soon as it can be.
Now! What can you do to ensure the patching goes smooth and you don't get unexpected issues with your game afterwards, you might ask? (Or, you might not. Regardless of your stance on asking or not asking that particular question, I will provide you with an answer).
Move all your mods and CC out of your Mods folder into a temporary folder prior to updating the game.
Then, go for one of these options:
- If you are planning to play the game vanilla (without mods) after the patch: Start up a new save. If you don't, all your mod data will be missing and if you overwrite that save without your mods all your mod progress will be lost.
- If you can't/won't/shan't play the game without your favourite mods, go to Origin, turn off Automatic Game Updates, Participate in Origin Client Betas and put Origin in Offline Mode. Wait until you get a confirmation from the mod authors of the mods you use to confirm that they are updated. Go online, update the Sims and update your mods.
Good luck and godspeed!

I was also disappointed to find out you have to pay for this.
2019-11-05 05:49:39 +0000 UTCThat is how economics works. You have free options if you download the public build. Optionally if you are that "outraged" put that misplaced energy into something constructive and learn to build your own mods. Join economics by building a competitive mod. If you cant or won't learn then put up money. Would you be outraged at your butcher for charging for what you cant do?
2019-09-13 15:40:45 +0000 UTCPretty shitty of you to charge almost $5 for things on this page. That's kind of shady. I remember the Skyrim mod movement "Forever Free" when modders joined together and promised to always provide mods for free. Sims modders don't seem to follow the same ideology and just want to penny pinch. Such a shame.
2019-08-22 21:08:29 +0000 UTCI love that you added a stand alone alcohol mod for those of us who want that but not a full drug empire. I switched to that but could not stand to go back to a sim world with the silly bubble blower, so...I played with your hookah addon and created a stand alone shisha version of the hookah that uses your object names and smoke animations (and replaces *I believe* every instance of "bubble blower" with hookah or shisha) but does not require ingredients and has shisha type flavor names names that make it easier to guess what the (default game) mood effects will be. If you are interested in release it as an option to your fans, I'd be happy to share it with you. Just tell me how. It needs more testing, but seems to be working perfectly so far. If not and you'd be willing to give me permission to publish it myself (when more fully tested and with credit to you for the parts you did, of course), that would be cool, too. It's my biggest modding accomplishment in the sims 4 so far. :)
