At last, all the features for the Gangs mod is in place, and I have started adding in the two remaining gangs. This will for the most part be a huge copy+paste job, at least for the basic functionalities, and I have strived to create this mod so I can easily add in more gangs in the future. I also want it to be a slightly different experience playing these two than the other two gangs, so there will be a few things here and there I need to change around, but the "hard part" is at least done and dusted.
In any event, as promised, here is a breakdown on how the Peace/War System between the rival gangs works. I have quite a few additional bits and pieces I want to add to this in future updates of the mod, but as of right now the system works, and will provide a lot of extra fun gameplay value.
Core Peace/War System
Each of the gangs has an already set rival gang. For the yakuza styled gang, they will have the mafia styled gang as a direct competitor, the two remaining gangs are street gangs and will be rivalling each other.
The core of the rivalry is the fight for territories, which can be done by micromanaging your enforcers to go out and try to take over new pieces of turf. For the two first gangs you can send them to extort businesses, once they control enough businesses you can have them try take over the rival gangs extorted businesses. You will also receive notice by phone from your enforcers, or from your Right Hand Man if a business has been taken over by the rival gang.
With the two street gangs this will likely be a competition for street corners instead of extorted businesses.
Controlling as many businesses/corners as possible factors into your payout every Friday. Come Friday you will get a call from one of your enforcers letting you know they have collected the protection money / have your cut from the last weeks corner pushing. The more businesses/corners you control, the higher the payout.
Sitdown with Rival Leader
Once your Leader Skill Level is high enough you can arrange sitdowns with the rival gang leader through your Right Hand Man. Either from a phone call or simply by talking to your right hand man.
If you don't already have a playable rival gang in your game world you will be prompted with a notification to create one, and adviced to play it up a few levels until you at least have the gang members, enforcers and headquarters in place.
The sitdown will start in either of the two gangs headquarters. If both leaders are high enough ranked that they have bodyguards, the bodyguards will also join in on the meeting.
The sitdown can go a few different ways, depending on whether or not you are in war with the rival gang or not. If it's a time of peace you can end the meeting either by declaring war or going into a temporary partnership with the rival gang (ie. send one of your members out to help out with a mission).
If it's a time of war the sitdown situation will be a bit different where the two possible outcomes of the meeting is either burying the hatchet and usher in a time of peace, or escalate the war further, which might prompt some of the rival gang members to show up at your headquarters shortly after the meeting is done.
Wartime
Whenever you are in war with the rival gang you will have a few extra missions to send your enforcers or gang members out on that is related to the war, without indulging too much info on what they are exactly.
During times of war, your gang members will also autonomously pick fights with members of the rival gang that they come across. This utilizes the base game fight animation for now, but might be changed in the future after getting mike24 on board with some new animations for the mod.

That concludes how the Peace/War System works, and I am certain this adds an additional layer of depth to Basemental Gangs.
Note: I am not taking any suggestions on Basemental Gangs at this time as there is too much stuff to implement already, and I don’t want to overcomplicate things at this stage.
