Added 2019-02-17 22:13:49 +0000 UTCThis is something I have been wanting to do for quite some time, and only seemed reasonable to implement now that I have slowly but surely started overhauling the cannabis part of the mod. With this update it is possible to legalize weed on a region basis through the Settings menu. I will definitely expand more upon this to trigger this by other means than the Settings, but the foundation is well in place now.

How it works
Legalize Cannabis
Access the legalize settings by clicking on your active Sim, click the Drugs pie menu and Settings Sub Menu. From there you can find the legalize option.
To legalize weed in a region, simply click on the button for that region. The option will then change for that region to Criminalize - Region. To make it illegal again, click that button.
When weed is legalized in a region cops will no longer bust you for dealing cannabis in that region and selling large amounts of cannabis won't add to the triggering of swat raids.
Alcoholic Quirk (Get Famous feature)
After getting a lot of inputs from you guys regarding this, I decided to take a middle road in what seemed to be very split opinions. The quirk string tables themselves will not get an optional download, but it has been renamed from Alcoholic to Alcohol Enthusiast.
This way it doesn't sound quite as bad, and it makes more sense in terms of there already being an Alcoholic implementation in the addiction part of the mod.
Simlish retexture
I know quite a few of you like having your items in Simlish. One of the Patrons on here, and user of my Discord Server, Ry, created some Simlish retexture of the objects in the mod for their own personal use and sent them over to me. I am sure more people could appreciate that so I added them as swatch retextures to the mod.
To change the object texts to Simlish, go to build mode, click on that color-changer-whatyamacallit-thingie and change the items to Simlish.

Installation Instructions
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download Basemental Drugs 2.1.1.92
- Unzip Basemental Drugs 2.1.1.92
- Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder
- Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
- Stuff not showing up properly? - place the files directly in your Mods folder.
- Any other issues, get in touch at my Discord Server
- Enjoy the drugs

There hasn't been any dealing cheats provided with this mod ever, no. You might think of a different mod that added in skill cheats. MCCC does a great job at that. Either way, I'd not recommend using cheats to up your skill levels as you will not get the required dealing trait you need from inquiring about selling drugs from your CAS assigned Drug Dealer, and you ultimately need those traits to get to use the actual rewards that comes with each skill level.
