Sit down and share a spliff!

For this version you can finally sit down and smoke one with a friend, and I also added some console cheat commands for those of you that are struggling with addiction (meaning, struggling to get your Sim addicted to a substance). I also included backwards compatibility to the whole sell drugs through phone bit, where you can call up active (non NPC CAS assigned ones) to buy drugs, and there is also a bunch of fixes. Hope you enjoy!

Drug Dealing

• Call up active dealers to buy drugs from Dealing menu on phone

• Buying from active dealers won't work autonomously any longer
• Active dealers will now receive money when bought from

Addictions

• Cocaine and speed addicts will now loose weight
• Speed addicts might wake up in the middle of the night

Amphetamine Dealing

• Level 10 reward changed:
• Cutting high quality package now yields 3 poor quality packages

How it works

Sharing Joints / Blunts

First of all, I have removed the previous version of this, so you can't use this as a standing interaction any longer.

To share a joint or blunt, make sure you have it in your Sims inventory. "Sit and Chat here" with the friend you want to share it with on either a sofa or a love seat.

Click on your friend and select "Share Joint" or "Share Blunt".

Note: This goes through the "Sit Intimate" romantic category, without actually adding any romance points to either of the Sims involved. This seemed like the only way to get this to work properly and restricted to sitting next to one another. Due to this, when the animation is over and both of your Sims are high, if you do not queue up another interaction that isn't romantic, your Sim might get all cuddly.

Cheat Commands

From the amount of requests I have gotten adding something like this, I reckon this should be a welcoming feature.

Open up the cheat console by pressing "Ctrl+C"

Type in "bmd_cheats"

This will give you a full list of all the available console cheats.

Here is the entire list of cheat commands:

• basemental_version - Lists the current version of the mod
• bm_coke - Adds cocaine addiction to the active Sim
• bm_amph - Adds amphetamine addiction to the active Sim
• bm_alco - Adds alcohol addiction to the active Sim
• bm_mdma - Adds MDMA addiction to the active Sim
• bm_weed - Adds stoner buff to the active Sim
• bm_r_ad - Removes all addictions from the active Sim

Drug Dealing

If you are playing a Sim that isn't a drug dealer but is on another drug dealing Sim's customer list, now you can click on your Sims phone, go to the Dealing menu and select "Buy Drugs". You will now get to call up your dealing Sim and invite him or her over to buy the drug your Sim is on the customer list for.

Whenever you buy drugs from said Sim that Sim will now actually receive payment for the transaction. I have also made sure to remove family members from this ordeal and turned off autonomy on this type of drug dealing.

Amphetamine Dealing

The level 10 reward of amphetamine dealing should now be a bit more profitable, as the amount you receive from cutting one package of high quality speed to poor quality speed has been changed from two packages to three.

Other

Last but not least, amphetamine and cocaine addicts will now loose weight quite rapidly when addicted to the substances.

Installation Instructions

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
• Download Basemental Drugs v1.4.7.70
• Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.4.7.70
• Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder
• Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
• Stuff not showing up properly? - place the files directly in your Mods folder.
