How it works

Weed

The amount of weed required for curing, and the amount within the ziplock bags has gotten a revamp. The amount required for curing has been upped from 10 to 15 uncured buds, and the amount within the ziplock bags has been increased from 4-5 buds to 9-10 buds. The prices per bag has also been subsequently raised, making it both more expensive to buy, and more profitable to sell.

Weed Dealing

You don't need any dealer trait to start selling weed. As soon as you start selling you begin to gain skill levels. The only thing that increases your level is by selling. Remember to pay attention to the notifications when you level up for an explanation on the new rewards/interactions per level.

For the final level, you get access to new special cure jars in the Headshop (on the computer). These only require 8 buds to start curing (compared to 15 for the regular ones) and they take 24 hours to be fully cured (compared to 48 for the regular ones).

With the introduction of this skill, the police arrests has also been included for Weed Dealing, on par with the other drugs.

Glitches Fixed

There was a glitch with the kicked the habit buffs. It did not get removed if you fell off the wagon. Now it does and is replaced with addiction.

Cepzid provided me with a great looking police uniform so I don't have to use the one from Get To Work, which is good news for everyone without that expansion as cops will look like cops and not crash test dummies.

The bong was tagged as a book, tuningwise, meaning that Sims suddenly could stop doing what they were doing and try to "Read Bong", hilariously enough. That has been fixed now.

If you were playing a Teen dealer that got arrested, some people reported that they popped right back out of jail after a second or two. Hopefully that has been sorted now, but please let me know if for some reason this problem still occurs.

Several people complained about their Teen moving out and started pushing drugs, due to their good relationship with their parents, the parents started calling them to ask to buy drugs. Family members have therefore been blacklisted from making those phonecalls.

For the Parental Reactions, the parents used to say stuff like "Are you high? etc", which made less sense with alcohol. All the wording of these interactions has been changed to something more in the lines of "Are you wasted? etc".

Cops can no longer bust you if you sell drugs from your home. A lot of people found it weird when the cop came busting in when there were no one around except for their Sim and one customer. Now your Sim can only get busted outside of the premises.

Yes. Katilyn Willims made me aware of this 2 days ago. There seems to be something missing from the code in the selling of high quality Amphetamine. This will be fixed in the version coming this week.

I'm having problems with interactions and can't remember which mod it is. Is it BDM that parents get angry when they find out their teen is pregnant? My sim is stuck being angry and won't stop and I can't figure out/remember which mod it is.

I’m no longer receiving money when dealing amphetamines. I was when I first downloaded the mod but after a few hours it doesn’t seem to work. Everything is working besides receiving money in exchange for the drugs

Level up MDMA Dealing Skill to level 5 and you'll get a Pill Presser as a reward (found in your Household Inventory) - You need to be level 5 in the aforementioned Skill to use it. That is what the ingredients are for

Thanks for letting me know about this. Apparently there was a missing part in the coding for getting paid when selling ziplock bags of high quality amphetamine. I will make sure it works again for the upcoming weeks release.

Hi. I hate to keep bugging you with questions, but if you would clear up something concerning the drug dealer aspect, I'd really appreciate it. I know that Sims no longer need the dealer trait to sell weed. However, I want a dealer who sells it all. I created a new Sim for this role because I understand that this character should be a non-player Sim. Does this mean that I should not create a home for him?. If not, will other Sims be able to contact him if he is not currently in the world? I hope this question isn't too stupid.

As soon as you open a cured jar it will give you a ziplock bag of that strain. You don't have to manually put it in there

Some stuff will obviously be in English though, due to the Patreon version having more stuff in it. That is also why it's a bit pointless starting to translate this version as I am adding more stuff on a weekly/biweekly basis

However, I've been having some issues with sticky keys lately, and I'm having trouble typing my password in settings to get past the security requirement my computer has to access the site. If you would tell me how I can obtain baggies for which to put cured weed for retail sale, I'd really appreciate it. I loved the mod, but wanted some more animations to smoke weed, I really would like the idea of smoking weed sitting or lying in bed. I'm from Brazil and I believe that a translation of the mod would not be bad. If you like the idea I can help with the translation

I will most likely add more strains in the future, but I think its way more important to add new functionalities instead of more of the same

Hey Allison. Haven't gotten around to look at that vampire stuff yet for pill addiction, as hotfixing the mod so it is not broken anymore was the main priority for last nights update

I still have wonky stuff happening with pill addiction... addicted but have the kicked the habit. Yea... vampire sim... I know. Might try reinstalling the mod, but ww broke everything after the patch and took me hours to fix. I'm not too keen on playing atm. Lol.
