Poll Time! Dealing and phone calls

I get that it can be a nuisance with the constant phone calls/messages from customers when you have one of the drug dealer traits. There is two obvious solutions on how to sort this out, so I decided to make a poll to see what you guys would prefer.

This poll has ended. Even though most people voted for option #2, there was a lot of you that wanted both functions. So I implemented both of the option in version 1.08.2

If you do do this, I hope you make it an on/off option. I think it'd be nice for certain storylines but not for every family.

T.T don't take my babies from me...They will grow up to be fine drug dealers someday!

I love this idea. I wonder if most people would be up for putting in all that legwork, though.

Basemental

That's a really great idea. I will add it to my extensive to-do list :)

I picked turn off call cause if u don't want to be bothered or stop sales just stop

Can u maybe implement something how the drugs affect children`? Like if the Parents are addicts or do drugs around kids a lot they get taken away? Would be very nice

I think it would be fun if you could get others addicted by giving them drugs then only sell to ppl who are addicted. If they are addicted then you could have an option to become their dealer which would make that person call you for more drugs. The more you build up your client base, the more phone calls you get and the more money you make. This way if you want to make money by selling drugs you actually have to put in some effort instead of being able to sell to any random person ^^

Hi Annika, what exactly does not work?

Basemental

Hi! What do I have to download to make your mod work? I tried to download and put all of your mod pack files into my mod folder, and I tried to only use the latest version. Either way, it's not working or parts of the mod doesn't work.. What exactly do I have to do to make your mod be 100%? :-) I love it btw

I just love u.... n e way it should be an option on the dealers phone to shut down when he or she wants to cause as said b4 all custo's r diff and they neva stop coming ...:) lol

Sw33ti3 Coombs

That is a great idea. And very doable

Basemental

Thanks for the input! I will look into how to prevent that from happening.

It is not available at all for Sims with the CAS drug dealer trait. That trait is meant for a Sim you won't be playing with really, but enable you to buy drugs from. You need to befriend the dealer with that trait and ask him or her to become a MDMA, Cocaine or Speed dealer. Then you will get phone calls from customers asking to buy whichever drug you are peddling.

I think the phone toggle would be a great idea. And you are doing a fantastic job on this mod! I love it! Thank you

I think that also having a limit on the repeat calls. A sim might not call for 24 to 48 hrs after hey have bought drugs.

Masakatsu

Both options are great! I would like the phone toggle for sure. The removing trait would also be nice for the roleplaying aspect.

I don't have a problem with the constant phone calls in general. It's only a nuisance to me when Sims who just left the house from buying call again. I wish it was a way that Sims with drugs in their inventory already won't call until they use up the drugs they already have. And also why are drug dealers calling other drug dealers asking to buy.

I don't get enough phone calls I've been playing as a teen drug dealer for over a sim week and I still have yet to get one call. Is this feature not available for teens with the drug dealer trait?

Duwhatgsimsdu

I ended up getting sick of the phone calls and ended removing the trait through the cheat console. I like the roleplay value of your first option.

Vinny

I voted for both.... but only because I think the trait removal should eventually be doable. The toggle calls option would be my choice for what comes first.

For sure :)

Basemental

Sounds like a drug lord problem.
