Basemental Drugs v1.06

I just tested it (albeit not very extensively) with the patch that came out June 15 2017, if you find some glitches or whatnot that might be caused by the patch, please let me know. But as far as I can see, everything works perfectly.
So, what is new in v1.06?
- Option to Sell Weed through social interaction when Sim is carrying
- New Pie Meny category for Selling
- Proper object given when selling (no more sponges)
- Tooltips on all(!) items
- Some drugs back in Buy Mode
- New prices for all drugs
- MDMA Pills can now be stored in Storage Chests
- MDMA Pill Glass can now be stored in Storage Chests
- Weed Ziplocks can now be stored in Storage Chests
- Speed Package can now be stored in Storage Chests
- Cocaine Packages can now be stored in Storage Chests
- No more random quality per ziplock bag of speed
- No more random quality per ziplock bag of coke
- No more random quality per bag of coke
- Fixed all string tables
- Reworked Buy Drugs Event slightly
- Give dealer your number changed to Get to Know dealer
- Added large bags of coke and speed to dealer
- Added huge bag of coke to dealer
- Added all strains of weed to dealer
- Added large speed package to dealer
- Proper object given when buying (no more sponges)

- Added Penthouse to venue types for Buy Drugs Event
- Removed Guest option on Buy Drugs Event
- Added better prices from dealer
- Added higher prices on weed when selling
- Added option to buy drugs straight from computer
- Drugs will be delivered to the mailbox
- Fixed glitch where you could buy Speed from Toybox
- Repeatable placement of Weed Jars when buying them
- Queued interactions works when curing
To sell weed, make sure your Sim is carrying a ziplock bag of one of the three available weed strains in his or her inventory. Click on the Sim you want to sell to, open the Basemental Drugs menu and click Sell Weed.
To buy drugs from your computer, click on the computer, choose the Basemental Drugs menu and select which drugs you want to buy. The drugs will be delivered to your mailbox the day after. (I also added drugs back to the buy menu, even though the vast majority didn't mind it not being there, now you have that option as well).
There are new prices for all the drugs to better reflect what the drugs would cost in the real world, this is subject to some more finetuning in future releases, though. If you buy from the dealer you get slightly better prices than through the computer or through Buy Mode. When you sell weed, you will earn slightly more than what it costs to buy it.
For the Buy Drugs Event, I removed the option to bring guests, as some people found this confusing. I also added Penthouses as possible venues, as this seemed to have caused a glitch for some Sims living in penthouses when trying to do the drug deal at their home.
Installation Instructions
- Remove the previous version of Basemental Drugs from your Mods folder
- Download the zip file and extract to your Mods folder
- Make sure that "basementalbuydrugsevent.ts4script" and "bmselldrugs.ts4script" is placed directly in your Mods folder (no subfolders)
- Make sure Script Mods are enabled in your game settings

2017-07-04 23:05:32 +0000 UTCActually I got it to work by taking out all of my CCs for my lot and also making a whole new game, which I don't understand how my lot CC was relevant, but after that folder was removed, both Wicked and Basemental worked properly. Maybe the game itself was corrupt? I'm not sure, but it is all working perfectly! Thank you!!

I know someone solved an issue with the mod by making an override folder, but that was pertaining to a completely different issue, but since I am just doing long shots in the dark here, it might be worth it to give that a try. 2017-07-03 22:15:45 +0000 UTCStrange. If it keeps crashing it might be that your computer is slow and both of the mods eat up resources. I am not sure though, I have never heard of anyone having this issue before. I have run both mods on 2 different windows computers and 2 macs, and there are no conflicts between them.

Link this up with WickedWhims sex system and make it so we can trade drugs for sex. Could even make it so if you are a dealer that customers offer sex in exchange for their drugs lol. seems like there could be a lot of fun to be had with those 2 mods working with each other.

2017-06-25 16:29:01 +0000 UTCHey! I would love to be able to do that, but at the time of being I can't see how it would be possible due to the game mechanics of harvestable plants. It is purely a case of being restricted by Game Mechanics unfortunately. The main difference between the qualities of the plants are how many buds they yield and how quickly you can harvest.

It is definitely coming though, but I thought it would be better to give out a new version as soon as I had some cool new features ready instead of having you wait until everything was properly in place. I reckon it is better to have weekly or biweekly updates instead of every four weeks :)

The way the prices are implemented as of right now it doesn't make sense to buy Cocaine from the computer for full price and sell it, just earning a minuscule amount of cash. It will on the other hand be made sellable once I have implemented a way for your Sims to buy it from a "supplier". I reckon this is something I will look more into when I start finishing up on the Drug Dealer career, as I want that career to be a requirement for selling hard drugs. The reason Weed is sellable is that you can grow it and actually make money from it by doing some work, not just buy something quickly from the computer and sell it with a high profit.
