August Roundup

This month I got two and a half games written up into review; which is a nice little push towards getting at that one game a week schedule I'm trying to reach. The games which did get published onto BoardGameGeek are:

The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls (as voted for by the discord community)

Castell by Aaron Vanderbeek

Please do go and take a look, if you enjoy the read give the post a thumbs up and comment if you have anything relevant to say as well. It helps bring the game review into a wider audience. Castell in particular is just 5 or 6 thumbs short of hitting that stage.

This month I will absolutely be giving a written review of Descent; which I will cross post here when it's done. I wanted to do it last month, but delivery got delayed (it should be arriving on this very day). Before that will come Yokohama: Duel, which is nearly done. 

I'm also working on Aftermath, which will likely get pushed out in October, Descent's going to occupy the gaming space where Aftermath would be otherwise. And over on the Last Standee we looked at Above & Below, Near & Far, Forgotten Waters, Abyss, Too Many Bones, MicroMacro Crime City, One Deck Dungeon and a game I actually ended up comparing to Kingdom Death - Hostage Negotiator: Career .
