- Removed the resilience cards mechanic.
- Reduced by 2 the total stat points if not playing with ancestry and by 1 if playing with ancestry.
- Reduced the starting wealth in every difficulty setups.
- Increased by 5 the starting effort levels in every difficulty setup.
- Adjusted the random setup according to the previous changes.
- Fixed the description of the dazed condition.
- Changed the morale descriptors from 15 to 18 to avoid overlap with the Champion demeanor.
- Changed the spirit descriptors from 5 to 8 to avoid overlap with the Serene demeanor.
- Changed the icon of the Imposing demeanor.
- Addressed some typos.
HAZARDS
- Removed the Memory Moss hazard.
- Changed the name of the Grub Rot hazard to Corpse Maggot.
- Changed the name of the Drowning hazard to Drowning or Suffocating.
- Reduced the harm of the Burning Hazard.
- Reworded many hazards to make them less prescriptive.
- Merged the Organisms hazards into Other Hazards.
- [New] Added the following hazards, under Other Hazards: Bad Air; Brambles, Heavy; Geyser, Burning; Grasping Grave or Undergrowth; Lade or RIver, Fording Frozen; Leeches Lightning; Plague of Flies; Poison Ivy, Oak, or Sumac; River Fording; Water, Contaminated; Window, Exploding.
- Removed the Toxic Substances appendix.
MOVES
- You no longer reduce the morale of foes with the Secure an Advantage move.
- Slightly reworked the Compel move to support the foe's morale value and marking progress in the foe's track with it.
- [New] Reworked the way you take +wealth with the Resupply move.
- Reduced the wealth gain with the Take a Downtime and Trade moves.
- Included the Delve the Depths move into the Recuperate option of the Make Camp move.
- Added a prompt in every move that sets a progress track to indicate how much boxes it has. The distinction is made because now the journey progress track is composed of 12 boxes. At the same time, every progress move indicates what dice to use as challenge dice.
- In the Find an Opportunity move, reduced the odds of the Benign Character Encounter and Item Finding.
- Slightly tweaked the conditional companion moves to make loyalty more relevant.
- Removed the option to increase stats in the Advance move.
- Reduced the pages of the Moves Reference by 1.
ANCESTRIES
- Changed the name of the Deep Gnome ancestry to Dark Gnome.
- Removed the Hard to Die aspect to the Minotaur Ancestry to replace it with Immune (dazed and stupefied).
- Changed the Samsaran ancestry name to Reborn.
- Removed the Dark Vision aspects to avoid prescription with the thick darkness hazard.
- The total aspect points for each ancestry has been reduced from 13 of 12. In order to rebalance each ancestry that didn't have the Dark Vision, the following changes have been made.
- Removed the Compel +iron addition (Intimidating aspect) from the Earth Sprite, Apefolk, Houndfolk, and Canid ancestries.
- Removed the Undertake a Journey addition (Intuitive Traveler aspect) from the Elephantine, Faun, and Tengu ancestries.
- Removed the Gather Information addition (Inquisitive aspect) from the Hogfolk, Raptorfolk, and Raptor ancestries.
- Removed the Make Camp addition (Survivalist aspect) from the Rhinofolk ancestry.
- Removed the Hearten addition (Cheerful aspect) from the Elephant ancestry.
ITEMS
- Decreased the cost of the Atlatl (Darts) from 4 wealth to 2 wealth.
- Changed the name of the Alchemist's Fire Kite item to Alchemic Fire Kit.
- Changed the name of the Bloodpyre item to Bloody Fire.
- Changed the name of the Cloudthorn Venom item to Cloudly Thorn Venom.
- Changed the name of the Shard Gel item to Sharding Gel.

- [New] Added the Loot value to foes.
- [New] Added guidelines to increase a foe's rating in the Foes chapter.
