I've been watching this series with my boyfriend lately. We noticed that the credit regarding Blythe is extremely inaccurate (we like to look up the real soldiers afterwards). He returned from WW2 when he was injured in 1948, but he actually took part in other conflicts since then. If I remember, he died in the 60s.
