Good to recall this is very true to the men& actions of the men. The book was the soldiers stories & Army records. Then each soldier was interviewed by the film team for more context & information. These interviews were recorded & what you see prior to each episode. Those are all the very men in the show. Hall actually was a D company radioman who landed close to winters & followed him on the assault & died that day.
