Big news! We’re in the middle of upgrading to a brand-new codec for our volumetric video content. This upgrade is a game-changer—it’s going to reduce bandwidth requirements while cranking up the resolution. Translation: smoother streams, sharper visuals, and an overall better experience.
Here’s what’s happening:
Reprocessing All Existing Clips – Every piece of content in our library needs to be updated with the new codec. This takes time, but it’s worth the effort to deliver the quality you deserve.
New Content in the Works – Alongside the reprocessing, we’re also preparing fresh clips that’ll take full advantage of the codec upgrade.
Because we’re so focused on these tasks, things might feel a little quieter around here over the next few weeks. Don’t worry—it’s not a sign of anything wrong. It’s just us putting all our energy into getting this done right.

In Blade Runner, creating eye contact was relatively straightforward since the character primarily spoke while facing forward with minimal motion. Our scenarios are far more complex, involving dynamic movement and varying interactions. That’s why we’re actively developing advanced tools to automate this process and handle the added complexity more efficiently. So we are already working on that in the background.
