It is a black ahd white fifties sci fi made during the period when no one really understood the effects of atomic radiation and what it could do. The idea that it might cause insects to mutate sounded both logical and frightening. For the time, it's got really cool special effects, a very intelligent plot and script and esp for the time period, a woman character who does more than just scream and be rescued. She's actually a scientist and she bosses the men around! Trust me, you will never look at an ant hill the ame way after this movie. I so enjoy your channel.
