There's Been An Accident - Can I Preserve the Original Paint?

I bet you weren't expecting another episode so quickly. Neither did I! :D

It's not a proper wrenchfest, but I actually filmed most of this back in September. Project Rottweil was involved in a sideswipe accident while it was with a friend. Thankfully, it was minor, no injuries or anything like that.
As a result, the left side ended up with 3 damaged panels, and given that the car was still wearing its original factory paint, something I'm very proud of, I sure wasn't going to repaint it.

I wasn't sure whether I should've filmed this, but I thought it might be interesting to show how I managed to fix this and retain the original paint.

It's also a sad one, as it's farewell to project Rottweil. Regretfully, I sold it recently as I needed a financial boost. One of my all-time favorite projects, and I truly hope it won't be the last time I see it, and maybe one day I get a chance to buy it back.

Anyway, the Bentley episode is doing amazing! Wasn't so sure it would receive such a warm reception, but it did! I am currently working on getting it to a drivable state, and then we can assess the condition of the engine, transmission, suspension...

At the same time, I've been battling rust on project Suonenjoki, Alpina B10. My biddy Valerio is helping me sort that out, and the more we dig, the more we find, but the last bit of welding was done today, so that episode will follow soon, too!

Hello Sreten, do you still have the Styling 42 on hand? My E39 came factory with these wheels but some previous owner exchanged them for the Style 66s.

Am I missing something, or did you take off the Alpina wheels before selling Project Rottweil?
