I really enjoyed this one! Of course, never as good as the first, but I like it more than Jurassic Park 3. Its a cool exploration into "What if?" What if humans were still so dumb after all those previous events and built the theme park anyways? Its just a fun concept and movie. I didn't like Claire too much, but I liked Chris Pratt's character and the kids.

Yusssss! Sooo good. I feel like you kind of just have to ignore some of the technicalities and what would and wouldn't be realistic, and these movies are 🔥in my opinion. And Chris Pratt is my favorite, VERY LIKEABLE HUMAN. 😆Plus the scene with him riding the motorcycle with the raptors is so epic. Can't wait for the rest of this series reactions!

I loved this movie. I grew up with the originals so when this reboot sequel happened, I was unsure of it. I ended up enjoying immensely. I think a huge part of why I liked it, besides the mosasaur and the raptors being some of my favorite dinosaurs, is actually Zach, the oldest brother. It seems very easy to get annoyed with him and how he acts, but I found him to be a highly sympathetic character. It’s very obvious from his statement about his parents and how ‘they’ve always been like this’ that they very much do not have a happy marriage. This is further backed up by the dad’s rude as hell comment about the family breakfast when seeing off the kids at the beginning. It also adds to why he likely didn’t say ‘I love you’ back to his girlfriend. He’s in the middle of watching his parents relationship fall apart and it’s is likely affecting how he views the commitment of one. A sort of ‘if it’s just going to fall apart anyway, why even try’ mentality that also accounts for the excessive flirting he does at the park. He probably noticed far before his little brother that there was something different than just the usual fights going on with his parents, but he went straight into the anger and denial stages. Writing off any arguments as it just being ‘how they’ve always been’ and the vehement denial of the divorce lawyers being a thing. I do like that when he realized he had actually upset his brother that he did start trying to make up for it. I feel it’s harder on the older kids when a relationship falls apart than it is for younger children ( I say this as the youngest of four). Because then in the middle of the turmoil the youngest kids look to the older siblings for guidance when the older sibling is just as lost at sea in the situation as the younger one but somehow the responsibility still falls to them to keep the youngest from spiraling. It doesn’t really allow the older sibling to properly process their emotions. Just my thoughts on that, since I noticed that you all seemed annoyed with Zach at certain points.

I need to wait for the next movies before I tell you what exactly Wu was doing with that DNA and why the I-Rex being so dangerous was almost entirely his fault. It ties in with the dino that Gray says isn’t a real dinosaur.

Thank you for this reaction! I like this one the best of the World movies, the next one is pretty good too..granted you have to suspend belief a bit more. Either way they are good fun! Hope you guys enjoy the next one!

Also some fun facts: - In the scene when we first see all the kids riding and "petting zoo" type interacting with baby dinos: the hit in the blue hat that hugs the baby bronco is the real life son of the actress who plays Clair. - The T-Rex in the end who fights the big baddie is the original T-Rex from the original trilogy - The scene where Clair and Owen are in the field with the dying dino in its last moments: that was kind of a big deal on set and in cinema because that was the only real animotronic used in the movie and one of the last ones made by the same person who did the puppets for the dinos in the og trilogy (if I am remembering that wrong, someone please correct me!) But that was the only non-cgi dino in the movie and it was like a big deal on set that day. - The dino on the computer screen in the secret lab room (when Gray says "that's not a real dinosaur.") will be addressed in the next movie!

To all your commentary at the end regarding the lack of I guess effect or repercussions of the events of Jurassic World, those after effects including the high casualties are addressed in the second Jurassic World movie (Fallen Kingdom). And dives deeper into all of the story lines addressed: the effect the events of this movie had not only on Clair but as well as a public (low-key masked as a debate between a divided public in their opinions) the background of Owen with Blue (the raptor), the idea of pig corporate/military/govnt stepping in, etc. I would get into it. Taking the situation in today modernized society, And what we as a society would do to react to such situations because of our greed, and naivety to the nature of thing. Plus you may see more familiar faces in the next movies from the OG trilogy

"They didn't need genetic hybrids". They completed the genetic sequence with toad DNA, they've always been hybrids, Lowery.

In Fallen Kingdom, They really drive deep into Owen’s and Blue’s relationship with each other. One of the best parts of that film.

Been waiting for this; let's gooo!
