Haha, this was a great time, and I love the reaction. I remember the second film being as good as the first. Not all of the movies are as good as this one, and I can't remember when the series starts to go downhill, but I know that at least the second is great. Here's some comedy movie recommendations for you. No idea if Matthew has seen any of them. Twins (Romantic Comedy, but light on the romance with some action) Sister Act (barely any romance and super funny) Sister Act 2 (No romance and better than the first) Adventures in Babysitting (a little romance, but it isn't the focus) Three Men and a Baby (a little romance, but not the focus) Three Men and a Little Lady (it is a romcom, and it's more romantic, but the comedy is great) Kindergarten Cop (some romance, with comedy gold, some action) And here's a few action recs Speed (a little romance sprinkled in) The Terminator Terminator 2 And a few drama recs Dances With Wolves (emotional drama, western, some romance) Ghost (Romantic suspense, thriller, some action) Iron Will (no romance, teen drama, action adventure) A few notes on the drama recs. Dances With Wolves is extremely long, and there is a love story woven in, but the length is worth it, and the romance isn't the focus at all. Ghost is a romance, but it isn't the traditional kind. I'm hoping the romance isn't too cloying for Emily. If it is, then it'll be a miss, but if it isn't, she'll love it. Iron Will is an unusual one. It did well when it came out, and it's one of my faves, but I never see it mentioned. It's a bit cheesy in places, but I think you'd both like it. Again, great reaction. I hope you'll watch at least the second Police Academy.
