Part 5 of project Frankfurt!
In this rather important episode, we learn about AluSil blocks and how to properly recondition them, and also prep the rest of the parts for the engine rebuild which will take place in the next episode!
Had a great time with H2 Motors and was awesome to see in person how AluSil etching is done. Hope you find it interesting and that this clears up some common misconceptions about this type of block.
Quick update on the not-BMW project, it still hasn't arrived, but they called and said this week, so we'll see. :D

Great video as always👍 Will be a very nice engine 😍 Maybe I’m just too old, but I get a bit dizzy when the scenes are cut short/fast/often, as soon I have focus on the detail shown, there is a cut etc. But (luckily for me) this is only happening a few times in the video. Most of the scenes are longer and are taking the time they need.
