This series is very HIDOI to humans. Basically none of the human guards and soldiers survived. So since you don't have a map shown in the anime unlike the LN, it is hard to know where everything is. Just imagine a "triangle" and you have the Holy Revlon Empire (in the east - they put that when Dakares was killed), Rhoden and Canada all next to each other as you can see Arc and Ariane can travel there by foot. Princess Yuriana just made it to the Grand Duchy of Limbult and as explained before it is the only trading partner to Canada so the Duchy is really rich and powerful. Limbult also used to be part of Rhoden and is pretty small land size-wise but it is right next to Canada (like right between Rhoden and Canada). You can see Yuriana's sister is the Duchess of Limbult so they have a close relationship but Limbult is still independent from Rhoden. This is only a small part of the world. We only get barely 3 vols of material S1.
