Besides S1 CGI stuff in the dungeon, the animation was relatively stable till first half of S3. But later half you could tell they ran out of budget. Those roaches and then you had the evil version fights be pretty much static combat. I'm not expecting Solo Leveling levels of fights but it reminded me of So What I Am a Spider and Failure Frame.
