"I'm sure the manga will cover it, anyways..." - That was my issue with the Manhwa even as someone who never read the Light Novels. At certain points the Manhwa just decided to skip parts, mainly towards the end, which really brought the whole series down for me. I loved it to a certain point, and then after that it kind of started a slow decline in how good it was to the end. Basically, it kinda just got boring, for me at least.

2025-02-24 07:08:27 +0000 UTCManhwa skipped pretty much the same amount once he partied up with Esil, and that was also a minor plot point, there was a UI element on Jinwoos side that had Esil requesting to join his party. Most of what was cut was from the Jeju raid planning, it showed more discussion and showed way more tension between the two, Association and Draw Sword guild and got to know Goto a bit more than in this episode. Slight misconception that he saved up points or respec'd mid fight, he was just saying it was time to utilize all of the points he had already invested into Str, and then combined it with Ruler's Touch (the telekinesis) to amplify his grip. 2025-02-23 07:53:55 +0000 UTCYeah that was another peak. At this rate, they may make it into space. They now at Ch 87. About 45% done. There is still a lot of story left and a ton of explanations. And in the manhwa, they did "skip" showing most of the final levels like in the anime - but the final showdown with Baran was imo better in the anime, the tag teaming and dual blade and especially the punch was epic. They did change the Esil dad interaction a little. They left out the dinner part (no big deal). Oh and Esil is best girl in Solo Leveling even if she has such small screen time.

Chugong did a great job with sprinkling small pieces of the main plot into action packed fights to slowly reveal everything and while im stoked for the next arc, its going to suck having to wait for your reactions to next season. edit:...holy crap i never noticed this till my second watch of your reaction and you mentioned Esil joining. Jinwoo has never come across a female that he could make part of his shadow army unless he decides to kill a human female...never thought about it till now
