Iโm late getting to this reaction but the guy singing the song at the garden party was singing the same song (Miracles Happen) from the credits of the first movie.

The guy singing Chinese was for the guests from Asia, the Prime Minster mentions it before the guy sang. It does appear out of nowhere but at least it wasnโt a terrible singer. Speaking of singers this was indeed the era of Kelly Clarkson. American Idol was huge back then. Oh the Rapunzel line is perfect for those who ship Rapunzel with Jack Frost as Pine voiced Jack in the Rise of the Guardians. And as the actress who voiced Rapunzel was in the first Princess-Lana played by Mandy Moore, it works.
