My theory about balloon going up is, that not everywhere on the 5th layer is sea. Maybe there are edges, where the balloon can pass. Not sure if this was explained in manga.

2025-01-26 00:40:18 +0000 UTCThe hollows are...well not spoiling. Interesting how the balloon got caught and then "saved" and well the pod is one way and yet there are more pods...yeah interesting place. Very interesting.
