Michel's E30 landed in the dojo and we take a closer look at it. This lovely gem from the '80s is going to remain absolutely original.

Hello there what exakt rubber fuel lines do you/BMW use on their Models inside and Outside of the fuel Tank ? :) Just a Quick and easy question thanks
2021-08-22 22:32:23 +0000 UTCI get the impulse to keep it original with the steel rims, but I don't think you can get a better look for this car than the mesh wheels. That's just my opinion, but the 320i with the mesh wheels is *chef's kiss*

2021-08-19 15:30:06 +0000 UTCAbout the absence of rust, I, as the unique user of this 38 years old car, have possibly and partially an explanation: during 17 years, between 1983 and 2000, this E30 was my first car for everything everyday: shopping, holidays, going to work..., and then my Mechanic and car Painter advised me to limit the use of the car mainly on salty roads; I agreed and bought a 323ti E36 and during 11 years my E30 was used only as a second car when the wheather conditions were not to bad to preserve the E30; finally during the 10 last years, the car didn't move in the garage; so since more than 20 years, 50% of its life time, the car was used more or less in relative good circumstances; but this is the case for all the very old cars delivered without a good protection against salt; today the cars chassis are well protected but you have other issues!

2021-08-18 19:12:56 +0000 UTCThe glasses were bought colored brown; there were two options: green or brown; afterwards it was not possible to have brown glasses; the tires have the dimensions of 195/60 14'', available in 1982 and 1983; afterwards the dimensions were 195/65; the suspension is normal but if you want the sportive option, then the height is down 2 cm

You can wash it in some places if the water can drain properly but the fines are huge and I don't want to risk it so I won't be showing how I wash cars anymore, even though everyone does it at home.
