The scenes with the banging always freak me out because of the trauma I endured watching the original movie as a kid. Once you finish the series I highly suggest you rewatch it! They do such a great job of having everything out in plain sight, but as a first time viewer you’re just like Steve. Also, the ghost in the office that Theo and Hugh saw was the mom. The ghost in the car with Shirley and Theo was Nell.
