Part 5 of project Karlsruhe has landed! We service the brakes in this one and replace aftermarket wheels with beautiful Style 4 wheels.
Took me a while to make this video, sprucing up brake calipers is an unexpectedly time-consuming process.
I was also on a short vacation (5 days) in Malaga with my girlfriend, I've been working full steam since the beginning of the year and needed a little break. I love Malaga.
After that, I had my girlfriend's parents visiting so that too contributed to the video taking a bit longer to make, but it's here now.
In other news, project Skovde, the E39 M5 is supposed to arrive tomorrow but still waiting on confirmation. Going to do an inspection on it once it arrives so expect a video on that soonish. And a new project is in the works! It's in Belgium, just need to find the time to go and see it, but I know you'll love it!

Since you got support from Falken I was wondering why you went for Michelin "slippers" for this project but I guess it's due to long time shooting.. Still a super cool project, wish to hear that silky smooth cold start of that V12 in person <3

2021-07-12 17:40:22 +0000 UTCThe calipers came out amazing, gonna try that paint myself. Next to the battery in the E32 is a pretty big set of cables that are connected via a metal plate looking thingy. On my car that connection was loose and that caused my windows to stop working, and the central locking to not work anymore. Might be worth to check that.

Also, I think your painting style was more a la Bob Ross than Picasso’s, otherwise those calipers would’ve come out looking vastly different.🤣🤣.
