Yeah, I hear that a lot. Considering S2 basically crapped on the manga. I mean seriously, the attack of the lab changed to the Cochlea for no reason so an important ploy point was not shown and that ending...like why? And S3 starts with a missing poster of Hide which only makes sense if S2 actually followed the manga.
