it's a ongoing problem with the anime adaptation overall. The novel is slower than the anime, since it contains a MASSIVE amount of world building and multiple sub-plots and side stories to compliment the main story. The anime on the other hand, tries to speed it up by miles, skipping a huge ammount of both world building and important relevant information, it tries and fails to have its cake and eat it
