2024-08-14 02:28:09 +0000 UTCYeah some stuff that was saved for season 2 kinda happened during S1 in the novel, so they had to separate some stuff between the seasons to keep the whole thing more cohesive instead of either retcon/skipping content completely or cramming so much into 12 episodes that it became a shitshow. But I'll agree that not knowing if anything is going to happen with the direction the first arc was taking could be disheartening if you were hoping for specific events.

This season has my least liked arc of the whole story, and I stoll enjoyed tf out of it in the anime.i hope you two enjoy it even half as much as I do.

2024-08-13 07:48:35 +0000 UTCActually..true. Think I'm just salty from alot of great s1 shows coming out with s2 recently. Hopefully SLF, Solo, Hells Paradise and Kaiju can break that trend when we get them and pull an "Empire Strikes Back" lvl sequel

2024-08-13 03:49:04 +0000 UTCS2 was much slower but not what I would call garbage. S2 usually has a drop in anime. I think you can count on one hand anime S2s that have been better than S1. But I see you point on being let down. S1 was much more entertaining.

2024-08-13 01:12:20 +0000 UTCHmm, I'd disagree. It's slower paced at the start but there was so much stuff to go through with the way they set up S1. If you are impatient for certain things to happen then yes it can feel stretched but given the amount of content they had to fit into the season, a lot of which is vital setup for the next arc(s), they did a good job imo.
