2024-06-26 16:12:43 +0000 UTCSo just a bit of trivia, S1 of Konosuba was probably meant to be a 10 episode advertisement for the LN. They had the author writing the script for the OVA expecting it to be the only time you'd see Yunyun, which is why they gave her the *sudden character intro* like they did with Dust and Wiz (who should've properly gotten their own arcs in the first season). However, S1 did so well in both sales and streaming that a 2nd season was greenlit before it ended airing. This is why you get the awkward repeat of the gangs encounter with Yunyun in Wiz's shop. Same shape, different content.
