I only watched this recently myself and I have to admit, a few minutes in, I was a bit like Nobu. It's not an American thing, I'm British and the style and lingo even did a number on me xD cockney has it's own breed of lingo, to be fair lol EDIT: watchin Hugh Grant play this character still cracks me up π all the actors did a bang up job but Grant is something else lol
