As mentioned in he's introduction episode Snakes are very sensitive to the cold & Ayame arrived this episode in an magnificent coat, complaining about the nuisance of rain & in the flashbacks that we get of him when he was in HS he is often wearing a long fur coat so I think we can assume that he wears such things in colder weather to try to avoid triggering he's transformation so much . Kyo is shown to drink milk & hate onions which cats are ellergic to & he's 'sound cue' is often (at least in the early seasons) a cat hissing lol . Kagura is dainty & cute but like a wild boar has insane strength & a vicious temper . Haru's oufit when we are first properly introduced to him is litrually black/white & fluffy & he's 'sound cue' is a bell + when he acts extra spacey he gets those big "hazy" type eyes that kind of make you think of the expression a cow . Yuki lives in mess just like a rodent & has bad lungs which apparently is pretty common in rats . Momiji was very springy in he's official introduction episode which is fitting for a rabbit & in the first episode of the beach arc when he comes to the house he is wearing a rabbit shaped bag which changes it's face depending on he's expression . Rin almost exclusively wears long boots & has a long mane of hair + is a fast runner which fits her perfectly as the horse . There's a part of the brain that deals with memory called the hippocampus derived from the greek words for horse & sea monster & is even kind of seahorse shaped which really makes me think how genius Hatori's memory representation power is . In the manga Ritsu is shown to be very agile like a monkey . The manga creator has said that this is the last time Tohru is shown wearing this sperfic hair ribbion (which is the one Yuki got her for white day during the inn episode back in season 1) but I can't remember if the anime stuck to that or not
