I completely agree. I really did love the meetings in the light novel, but thats because it is a word only format, so it was really the only time when character personalities shone through. in this medium though, they display the information in the same way they display in the light novel, which I think is kinda just a huge mistake. They should absolutely display the information in a way that takes advantage of the visual aspect. It would be much better to show a much more toned down version of the meeting, then show the plan in action, occasionally flashing back to details in the meeting that they did not originally show.

2024-05-14 15:02:20 +0000 UTCWhen I read the slime light novel. This part was interesting to read. All the world building going on. But this style of story telling just doesnt work in anime form. They could have approached it differently by separating these meetings over the episodes with some backwards story telling.
