I'm not sure if you guys noticed but the song playing during their wedding was the song playing during their prom in the first movie.

2022-11-18 01:51:27 +0000 UTCMost of your questions I think were answered above, except for one. So the one hard and fast rule for vampires is they can't tell the humans they exist, or show it. The Volturi were going to kill Bella in New Moon because she knew of their existence and was human, but desisted because Alice said she would become a vampire, and Aro was curious what her abilities could be since none of them could affect her with theirs. So they can't tell Charlie anything remotely concerning the truth. The plan in the books is to make it seem like she died in an accident, and then they'd have a fake funeral for her, and Edward and Bella would likely disappear for awhile. They were planning on going to live with their cousins (that were at the wedding) in Alaska. So they aren't planning on telling Charlie anything for his own safety. If the Volturi were to find out, he would be killed.
