I'm pretty sure there are still one or two volumes left to be completed by the author. The author said one more, so it will probably be one more to wrap up the series. However, I could see it growing into two more based on what happened with the last arc (which was split into part one and part two novels.) I have to wonder how many seasons they would have gotten out of Overlord if they had decided to just start adapting it now, given they had a tendency to rush through the novels and leave a lot of material out.
