Should have listened to the temptation and watched one more episode. EP10 is good toooooo. The final recon missing btw is a continuous march towards the legions territory until they die there that's why they went out of the radar as they need to continue on with the mission.

2024-02-16 02:03:53 +0000 UTCMy interpretation of the end is that they are still continuing the mission (they will be executed if they return) but since the belief is that their country is the only one left in the world, then anywhere but the republic is in mission purview. The reason she was running at the end is because they were approaching the distance that republic comms signals still work (hence the unknown designation) and was trying to stay in contact longer.
